Wheatbelt Training Opportunities -
Community Capacity Building workshops
In 2008 and 2009 RDA Wheatbelt Inc (formerly known as Wheatbelt ACC during this period) facilitated a number of capacity building workshops for community, local government and business participants throughout the region. We are pleased to announce that we are now offering a range of workshops in 2010. The workshops are designed to have a local focus, and where possible will be provided at no cost (note host organisations may choose to charge for catering and a registration fee).
Workshops can be either generic (i.e. individuals can case study their own project, organisation, or use a case study sample provided) or specific to a group project or organisation request The aim is for participants to walk away with something they can use (i.e. relevant to them or their community), be it the start of a planning document, generation of ideas, or identification of next steps to pursue.
Workshops on offer include
- Brainstorming a Project Idea
- Introduction to Project Planning & Grant Writing
- Step by Step Project Planning (includes Grant info)
- Introduction to Risk Management
- Introduction to Strategic Planning
- Step by Step Strategic Planning (Specific to an Organisation)
- Event Coordination and Management (Availability to be advised)
- Marketing and Promotion (Availability to be advised)
Other workshops are currently being developed and will be advertised when available.
