Youth Connections is a federally funded initiative to provide one-on-one support to young people aged 13 – 19 years who have disengaged or are at risk of disengaging from education prior to the completion of Year 12.
The program provides assistance to young people to help them get through school and transition to further education, training or employment.
Support is personalized to meet each young participant’s needs.
Participants in the program can self-refer, be referred through their school, by families and friends, or by various community members and groups. There is no compulsion for the young person to participate in the program.
